We integrate a variety of evidence-based and experiential approaches spanning from traditional talk therapies to somatic and parts-based modalities, ensuring that each person’s healing journey is met with the most resonant and effective support. Whether clients are navigating complex trauma, relationship challenges, or a desire for deeper self-understanding, our integrative approach meets them where they are, honouring both their emotional realities and embodied wisdom.

Group Therapy

Facilitated group sessions that harness the healing power of shared experience and mutual support. Participants connect with others navigating similar challenges, learning from multiple perspectives while giving and receiving support in a safe, structured environment.

Bibliotherapy

Therapeutic reading sessions that use literature as a tool for healing and personal growth. Through carefully selected texts, memoirs, fiction, poetry, or self-help works, participants explore their experience, gain new insights, and discover different perspectives on life's challenges. Sessions can be individual or group-based, involving deep engagement through discussion, reflection, and creative response.

Journal Club

Experience the profound impact of being deeply heard in a sacred, judgment free space. Share your story and witness others in authentic, compassionate connection.

Lived Experience Peer Support

Guidance from peer educators with lived experience and professional training, offering compassionate support for depression, queerness, and neurodivergence.

Therapy is a tool of collaboration, not correction. It is a container for helplessness and a finding affirmative rituals, connection and ways of seeing oneself.

Disabled individuals often live within silence, tokenism, and erasure. Society may label their lives as “inspirational,” yet rarely seeks to understand the full experience of disability. It is not a single body part or a moment of suffering, it is a central, lived reality that deserves respect, visibility, and inclusion.

At Creative Care, we create space for healing the relationship with the body, working with profound anger and grief that comes with the very isolating experience of disability. We as a team affirm the identify, not just ability, create safe spaces, address the psychological impact of erasure and promote inclusive language and practice that upholds dignity. We are constantly keeping up with our lived experience experts to deepen and nuance our understanding of disability, illness and death.

Your brain isn't broken, it's different.

If you are neurodivergent or questioning and struggle with shame, procrastination, decision paralysis or life admin or navigating relationships or if your everyday tasks are too overwhelming, we are here to help you make sense of your neurodivergence, find tailormade life admin approaches that work for the way your brain functions.

THE APPROACH: Involves building systems that work with neurodivergent brains. We will help you understand how to best align with your brain's natural rhythm and tailor approaches to support you in your everyday life.

OUR INTENTION: Making sense of your mental wiring rather than fighting it or denying the stress, you go through, possessing a difference that the world struggles to acknowledge.

Rejection rewires the nervous system. Queer lives carry the burden of it all. At Creative Care, we deeply understand the impact of the world's familial and personal rejection on queer lives. Our services are expert-led and evidence-based, deeply informed by lived experience. Our lived experience educators are gender nonbinary, disabled, neurodivergent, trans and gay people. We constantly co-learn with you in everything you bring.
