Thank you for choosing Creative Care for your therapeutic needs. This document contains important information about our professional services and business policies. Please read it carefully and ask any questions you may have before signing.

About Therapy

Therapy is a collaborative process between you and your therapist designed to help you achieve your personal goals. It can provide benefits such as:

Improved relationships and communication skills.
Better coping strategies for stress and life challenges.
Increased self-awareness and personal growth.
Resolution of specific problems or symptoms.
Enhanced emotional well-being.

Therapy requires active participation and honesty. While many clients experience significant benefits, there is no guarantee of specific outcomes without consistency. Some clients may experience temporary discomfort as they explore difficult issues that is a part of the process. Your therapist may discuss something called the therapy frame. You can read more about it here - A therapy frame refers to the foundational context, boundaries, and structural elements that shape a therapeutic relationship and process, providing a safe and predictable environment for clients to engage in emotional work. It includes agreed-upon factors such as the schedule and duration of sessions, fees, confidentiality, the physical setting, and professional boundaries between therapist and client, which are essential for establishing trust and consistency. 

Therapist Qualifications

Your therapist has completed a masters in psychology and has additional training in their specialised areas of mental health. Specific credentials and areas of specialization are available upon request and are displayed on the website. 

Confidentiality

Your privacy is of utmost importance. All communications between you and your therapist are confidential and protected by law. Information will not be disclosed without your written consent, except in the following circumstances:

Duty to Warn/Protect: If you present a clear and imminent danger to yourself or others
Child/Elder Abuse: If there is reasonable suspicion of abuse or neglect of a minor or elderly person
Court Orders: When required by a valid court order or subpoena
Medical Emergencies: When necessary to seek emergency medical treatment
Consultation: Anonymous consultation with other professionals for treatment planning (no identifying information shared)
Fees and Payment Policies

Session time - 60-minute session

Payment: Payment is required 24 hours in advance of each scheduled session.

Each session is charged separately.
Introduction call is available upon availablity of therapist (15 min call).
Direct Booking means your first session is charged and doesn't include the 15 min introduction call.
Accepted Forms: Bank Transfer, Debit Cards, Wire transfer, UPI 
Late Cancellation/No Show: Full session fee charged for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. You will get one free pass. Medical emergencies are not applicable to this policy. Please speak to your therapist about what qualifies as a medical emergency. 
Scheduling and Communication
Scheduling: Sessions are typically scheduled weekly at a mutually agreed upon time
Between Sessions: Brief phone calls for scheduling or urgent matters only. Therapy is not conducted via phone/email/text.

Technology and Tele-health (if applicable)

If participating in tele-health sessions:

You understand the risks and benefits of telehealth services
You have a private, secure location for sessions
You understand that technology may fail and have backup communication plans

Record Keeping

Creative Care maintains clinical records as required by law and professional standards. You have the right to review your records, though we may recommend discussing the contents with your therapist first.

Complaints and Grievances

If you have concerns about your treatment, please discuss them directly with your therapist first. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact:
